@Home Childcare Training courses have been developed with home-based practitioners, such as nannies, in mind!

We are specialists in delivering training to home-based childcare practitioners.  Nannies, childminders and local authorities like us because of our reputation as a provider of quality, innovative training and because we really understand the needs of home-based practitioners.

Nannies are often grouped alongside childminders for training because they provide childcare in a home setting but their training needs vary in some areas.  Nannies are employed privately by parents to provide care in the family’s own home, whereas childminders are self employed and run their own businesses.

@Home Childcare Training have made a distinction between the training of nannies and childminders and, have subsequently, designed the Learner Journey, a series of courses which specifically meets the needs of the 2 different groups of home-based practitioners.

The Learner Journey for Nannies are courses specifically aimed at nannies who would like to ‘up skill’ to improve their professional status in the children’s workforce by completing progressive training.
